Seniwati Gallery of Art by Women

Established in 1991 and located in Ubud, Seniwati Gallery of Art by Women aims to increase the exposure of female Indonesian artists. This space is dedicated to the display and promotion of their work which has been overlooked at other venues. Apart from the sale of artwork, the gallery also maintains a permanent collection. In addition it supports education through art by training art students from a young age. The gallery has classes and also holds a competition every year, the sixteen most talented participants receive as a prize free lessons and access to materials.
