Singapore Flyer

Standing at 165 meters, the Singapore Flyer is the largest Observation Wheel in the region, and definitely demands a visit at least once in your life. Quickly established as one the icons along the glitzy Singapore skyline, a trip on the Flyer will take you on a magnificent panoramic journey – presenting to you breathtaking views of historic and cultural landmarks, such as Marina Bay, the Singapore River and the Merlion Park. Our favourite time to go has got to be right before the sun goes down; that way you can clearly the sky streaked with colour right before the stars and the lights from the city begin to take centre stage.

Besides checking out the view of Lion City’s glittering cityscape, there’s a ton of other things to do at the Singapore Flyer. We like to stop by Seafood Paradise @ Flyer for their authentic local dishes like chilli crab and cereal prawns, before heading over to the Flight Simulator for an afternoon of adventure.

All in all, a trip to the Singapore Flyer is an absolute must – with awe-inspiring views, delectable food and new experiences all packed into a single vicinity, who can say no?

When Joel’s not partaking in one of his shameless eating sessions, he likes to think of himself as a sponge – absorbing the mysteries and beauty of our world – be it through a good book or a wacky jaunt in a foreign country.
