Look forward to the newly added festival zone at Fort Canning, hosting luminescent displays by some of our local artists, such as audiovisual artist Lynette Quek’s cyberpunk inspired interactive graffiti. There’s also PALIMPSEST by William Chan and Brandon Tay, an ode to the history of Armenian Street. Wander amongst murals and sculptures scattered about the park, and take insta-worthy photos with sound activated graffiti for your feed.

Tunnel Graffiti by Lynette Quek and PALIMPSEST runs 7:30pm-12am daily, 19-27 August 2022, at the Fort Canning Park Tree Tunnel and Armenian Street respectively. Admission is free.

Projection Mappings

Captivating projections join the show as artists light up the city with gorgeous displays. Enjoy MOJOKO’s Midnight Show at the Capitol, using images from National Archives of Singapore and National Library to create a moving artwork that traces the history of Singapore’s cinemas. Hungarian projection mapping production studio Maxin10sity likewise gives us a feast for the eyes with Stories from Forbidden Hill, using ancient wall murals and nature to paint the narrative of Singapore’s history dating back to the 14th century.

Midnight Show at the Capitol and Stories from Forbidden Hil runs 7.30pm-12am, 19-27 August 2022, at National Archives Singapore and National Museum of Singapore respectively. Admission is free.
