SPROUTS Edition 6 Finals

SPROUTS is a unique platform designed to uncover and develop Singapore’s upcoming choreographers, provide the opportunity for these emerging talents to showcase their works and kick-start their professional careers. Unlike dance competitions centred on techniques and performance qualities, SPROUTS celebrates the originality and creativity of choreographic concepts across all forms of dance.
Organised by the National Arts Council and co-presented by Frontier Danceland, the national dance choreography competition returns to inspire new creations that will enrich Singapore’s dance content and provide novel arts experiences that our local audiences can thoroughly enjoy. In its 6th edition, SPROUTS continues its mentorship programme and workshops for lighting design and dance composition. These initiatives hope to provide insight, guidance and refinement to our participants’ choreography through working with mentors from our arts industry and impart knowledge on essential composition and choreographic techniques.
