Bastille Day – France‘s National Day – is this week, but it’s not the only celebration in town. On top of the Singapore Food Festival new food, it’s new menus abound at old favourites like SPRMRKT (at Bukit Timah and Robertson Quay) and Italian restaurant Fratelli.

Penang Street Fare at Courtyard by Marriott Singapore Novena

Savour the best of Penang street food with Mariott Singapore Novena’s weekend buffet, starting this Friday till 8 September 2019. The lavish spread is specially curated by their Penang native Exceutive Chef and includes crowd favourites such as Penang Char Kway Teow, Braised Pork Belly, Oyster Omelette, Nasi Kandar (steamed rice with curry sides), and Malaysian special Lok-Lok. Do visit their Rojak stations, and quench your thirst with free-flow of traditional drinks like Teh Tarik.

Nom Nom Nom Food Festival

Join the fun at Nom Nom Nom running till 14 July, with the best of Singaporean comfort food, a duplex carousel, and “live” DJ sets. Savour the spicy Mala beef cubes by Beef Bro, sweeten up with Crème brulee churros from Churros Republic, or sink your teeth into a juicy burger from Three Buns. It’s not all food and drinks, there are also eating competitions, lucky draws, and carousel rides. Oh, and visitors get to enjoy Tiger Beer at S$4 with every food purchase.

New Summer Menu at Fratelli Trattoria and Pizzeria

Relish the summer flavours with Fratelli Trattoria and Pizzeria‘s new menu by Italian celebrity chef brothers Enrioc and Roberto Cerea. Made with seasonal ingredients using their traditional recipes, try their Gazpacho di Pomodori e Pesche, Gamberi Croccanti, prepared with Mazara red prawns and peach gazpacho. There’s also Agnello all Erbe, Pastinaca e il suo Ragu featuring a succulent Welsh lamb rack with aromatic herbs for an indulgent protein refuel. For something more casual, head over to the Pizzeria for freshly-baked artisanal pizzas.

New Dinner Delights At SPRMRKT

All-day dining at SPRMRKT just got better with new dinner menus. Get hearty sharing plates such as Fresh Pacific Oysters (six for S$25) and local-inspired Har Cheong Pork Belly Sliders (S$16) to share with a group of pals. For the mains, check out their Spicy Prawn Marinara (s$28) with sambal belachan, or New Zealand sourced Slow Braised Lamb Shank (S$30). All crafted with local and regional ingredients, it’s the best of fusion food – contemporary European cuisine with Southeast Asian influences.
