Wine Lust 2021 Returns this August with 30 Days of Grape Adventures in Singapore

Kicking off 19 August 2021, the fifth edition of Wine Lust returns just in time to cater to our hunger for new experiences. This year, the annual celebration of wine by hospitality group 1-Group features 24 dining and retail experiences across nine of their dining destinations in Singapore. The wine line-up also sees some interesting names like Omina Romana, a fairly new family run winery in Central Italy, and the highly-lauded Amelia Park in Margaret River. Here’s what else to expect:

All Festival Long

Oriental Wine Dinner (S$68 per person)

For a more pocket-friendly night out, check out recurring events on Wine Lust’s calendar. TXA Gastrobar, for one, pays tribute to the sparkling, dry white wine from the Spanish Basque Country with Txakoli & Tapas on Fridays. Bordeaux and Burgundy wine lovers can look to The Summerhouse’s four-course French Wine Dinner (S$136++ per person) to enjoy vintages like the 2018 Louis Latour Marsannay Rouge pinot noir. Or if you’re craving regional Chinese flavours, Mimi’s six-course Oriental Wine Dinner (S$68++ per person) includes a glass of 2018 tempranillo or a glass of M. Chapoutier white blend of vermentino, viognier, and rousanne

Treat Yourself with Special Wine-Paired Dinners

The Art of Sake and Nikkei Pairing (S$180++ per person)

Those looking for a suitable occasion to splurge will find plenty of opportunities with Wine Lust’s one-night only dinners. Got a friend that prefers nihonshu to wines? Take a delightful detour to FLNT at 1-ATICO for an evening exploring The Art of Sake and Nikkei Pairing (S$180++ per person, 1 Sep 2021). The five-course dinner showcases sakes of ginjo grade and above alongside the restaurant-bar’s Japanese-Peruvian creations.

From one rooftop to another, Stellar at 1-Altitude will be presenting the six-course Amelia Park Wine Dinner (S$160++ per person, 25 Aug 2021). Look forward to contemporary Australian flavours paired with some of the best wines Margaret River has to offer. Or you could indulge in some daytime drinking with The Bay’s Finest Prosecco Brunch (S$150++ per person, 21-22 Aug) at Monti with three different Proseccco on free flow.
