As we enter the height of summer of the Northern hemisphere, island dwellers and holiday makers can look forward to international DJs jetting into town and exciting themed parties. Ubud’s very own Jazz festival is also returning for its 5th edition this month – there’s no better time to be on the Island of the Gods, we reckon!
Phoenix Sundays x Rainforest Pavilion with D’Julz
The Rainforest Pavilion crew is returning to OMNIA Bali for another round of their trademark conscious clubbing experience. With a message to spread awareness about rainforest preservation to the party people. Experience a day of sunshine adorned with rainforest themed décor and installations against the gorgeous backdrop of Uluwatu cliffs, all complemented by an epic lineup of DJs including the legendary D’Julz (France), Alex Joy, Halim Ardie, and Phoenix resident Andy Chunes.

Ubud Village Jazz Festival 2018
The Agung Rai Museum of Art is hosting yet another spectacular music festival: the fifth edition of the Ubud Village Jazz Festival 2018. Indonesian musician Yuri Mahatma and Festival Director Anom Darsana have curated an exciting lineup of both international and local Jazz musicians such as Ade Irawan’s Good Fellas (ID), Benny Green Trio (USA), Emilia Schnall & Underground Jazz Movement (AUS-ID), and Insula (FR). A must for jazz lovers in the region!

Da Maria Finestra x Mauricio Alpizar
For a fashionable night out, Italian restaurant Da Maria will be playing host to Australia designer Mauricio Alpizar and his latest Spring/Summer collection. The Revival Collection prints are inspired by immortal iconic music legends such as David Bowie, Prince, Jim Morrison, Freddy Mercury, Whitney Houston, and Michael Jackson. The collection, alongside BE CUBED NY accessories, will be available at Da Maria’s pop up shop all August and September.

1st Birthday x Metto Monday
If you missed their first year celebration, fret not. Luigi’s usual Metto Monday is back with a vengeance. In collaboration with Bali’s rising local collective PNNY Crew, expect the hottest tunes alongside happy hour pizza (Rp. 50,000 each) and drinks (Rp. 50,000). Best part? It’s happening every Monday till 28 August 2018.

Looking forward to the next #DJHappening at Woobar? Wait no longer. American producer, DJ, musician and part-time vocalist AMTRAC (aka Caleb Cornett) is jetting into town. Armed with remarkable dance/electronic remixes such as a recent release of ‘Old Times’ remixes featuring the likes of Juan Maclean and Gerd Janson, as well as his original tracks such as ‘Companions’ and ‘Escalator’, AMTRAC will be working the dance floor with his driving funk-infused set.

Vice x Potato Head: Kamasi Washington
Following the banging second day of their Sunny Side Up Festival through August, Potato Head has decided not to stop the party just yet. As part of their biannual collaboration with edgy international publication Vice, American saxophonist Kamasi Washington and his 12-piece band is set to join in the fun. Joining forces with highly accomplished local talents soon to be announced, Kamasi and his band will guarantee you a jazztastic evening of heartfelt funk tunes.

Ku De Ta White Party – Electric Baroque
Get your corsets, lace, frills, and boots ready for Ku De Ta White Party – this year’s theme of Electric Baroque is perfect for unleashing the classically extravagant and rebellious romantic side of you.
