Epicurean Market 2019: Marina Bay Sands’ Annual Food & Wine Event Returns With A Festive Twist

Marina Bay Sands’ hallmark food and wine extravaganza, Epicurean Market, is back for its sixth edition from 13 December across a three-day affair – just in time for the holiday season too! Don’t miss out on three days of culinary revelry, including the exclusive Friday dinners and soiree, and ever-popular food and wine show. Here’s why you should get your tickets now.

13 Dec: Exclusive Celebrity Chef Dinners

Opening day sees an exclusive one-night-only series of exclusive menus, dinners, and cocktail soiree presented by a stellar cast of celebrity chefs as well as wine and spirits experts. Celebrated names that will be participating include local celebrity chef Justin Quek and Wolfgang Puck.

Modern Japanese restaurant KOMA will participate in Epicurean Market for the first time with a 4-course sake dinner for up to 25 guests.

Puck, whose name you’ll recognise from CUT and Spago, will be personally participating for the first time with a special ‘Back to my Roots’ dinner at CUT, paying homage to his Austrian roots. “I have heard many wonderful things about Epicurean Market, and am excited to finally be part of this massive food celebration. I look forward to welcoming everyone to my restaurants, and interacting with all the food lovers at this year’s Epicurean Market.”

There are also experiences like a hands-on Beef Wellington masterclass at Bread Street Kitchen, a four-course wine pairing (S$168++) at LAVO, the first-ever four-course sake dinner at KOMA, and a kick-off party at Yardbird Southern Table & Bar with 1-for-1 cocktails, snacks, and live music from 5pm to 8pm.

LAVO’s 4-course pairing menu on 13 December includes passed canapes and meet-and-greet opportunities with celebrity chefs.

Love bubbly? Check out db Bistro‘s Premium Cuvee Wine Dinner (Hokkaido Uni Tartine, anyone?) combined with a flight of premium Champagne. Similarly, JustIN Flavours of Asia by Justin Quek will see a highly-affordable Franco-Asian spread with dishes like Sambal King Prawn Capellini and Salted Gula Java Ice Cream.

14 & 15 Dec: Gourmet Marketplace & Free Masterclasses

That’s right: sample more than 60 signature bites and tipples from over 50 booths, including some of Marina Bay Sands’ newest and upcoming restaurants. Think the famed Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer from New York, modern Japanese paradise KOMA, as well as the European-inspired patisserie Origin + Bloom. Are you an avid homecook? Pick some useful tips from complimentary entry to 12 masterclasses led by the aforementioned celebrity chefs and more. Plus, Chef Tetsuya Wakuda of Waku Ghin will be showcasing his exquisite desserts at the Waku Ghin Patisserie Platine booth.

12 free masterclasses for visitors include Bread Street Kitchen’s Roast Revolution, where guests can learn to make a simple roast at home, and a culinary showcase by Chef Tetsuya Wakuda.

And there’s even more good news: for the first time, Epicurean Market will boast a world-class bar helmed by leading bartenders from 12 bars across Marina Bay Sands’ signature restaurants, including the highly-anticipated Mott 32 from Hong Kong. This is your chance to preview signature cocktails before it opens in early 2020. You can also pick up some gourmet produce and holiday treats for your Christmas party from the festive market.

Got little ones? Make it a family affair at the kids’ activity corner, which includes a bouncy castle and a photo booth with Santa.

In true Epicurean Market fashion, the end of each night will see an epic after-hours bash for visitors to rub shoulders with the biggest names in F&B. This time, they’re taking the party to Singapore’s biggest nightclub MARQUEE. Want to score tickets? Stay tuned to @marinabaysands for more details about special events and more.

Epicurean Market 2019 is happening from 13 to 15 December 2019 at Marina Bay Sands.
