Sexy Middle Eastern at The Ottomani

Crust to Crust

Created by Head Chef Beau, The Ottomani‘s new four course menu ($108++ per person, wine pairing additional $68++) features a collection of charcoal grilled dishes such as Crust to Crust for starters, made with foie gras mousse on toasted brioche. Their mains feature wholesome communal plates to be enjoyed by two that involve overnight slow roasting to create mouthwatering flavours, like that in the Down the Tracks, a 90-day aged black Angus striploin served with tomato chutney and kashk. Desserts include The Accident, a sorbet that has been enhanced with spices, providing a sweet and savoury twist to the traditional version.

Tender Irish Duck at Wan Hao

Braised Irish Duck with Premium Dried Orange Peel and Sea Cucumber

Wan Hao Chinese Restaurant is showcasing a range of culinary dishes featuring the Irish Duck from now till 30 December 2018. Known as the “Wagyu of Ducks”, the restaurant features this tender and flavourful meat in à la carte specialities like the Deep-fried Irish Duck in Kumquat Sauce ($39++), which pairs the fragrant Irish Duck meat with tangy kumquat sauce made fresh in-house daily. Another dish to try is their Braised Irish Duck with Premium Dried Orange Peel & Sea Cucumber in Claypot ($68++); a deboned Irish Duck is braised for two and a half hours and served with dried orange peel that lends a pleasing, sweet-savoury dimension.

Premium Italian coffee at 101CAFFE

Leading Italian coffee brand, 101CAFFE, launches its first flagship concept store in Serangoon Gardens. Coffee lovers can choose from their array of products such as capsules, sustainable paper pods, beans, and ground coffee – all of it exclusively produced by artisans who follow traditional Italian roasting and blending techniques. 101CAFFE will be introducing the Gran Milano Premium Blend, a special blend of 80% Arabica and 20% Robusta exclusive in Singapore. The beans, produced in Rainforest Alliance certified plantations, result in a a strong full-bodied coffee with a creamy sweet aftertaste.

Authentic Heritage Breakfast at The Lobby Lounge

With the success of The Lobby Lounge’s Heritage Lunch Buffet, the restaurant extends the indulgence of perennial local favourites with the launch of their Heritage Breakfast. In collaboration with popular local food brands, the Heritage Breakfast showcases signature recipes such as The Coconut Club’s Nasi Lemak – jasmine rice infused with coconut milk, served with deep fried chicken that’s been marinated with various spices. As well as Springleaf Prata Place’s Roti Prat with Dhal Cha and Fish Curry. No Singaporean breakfast line-up is complete without the most iconic local breakfast dish: Soft-Boiled Eggs with Kaya Toast. The kaya is made from scratch using the hotel’s Executive Chef Franco Brodini’s special recipe.

Bob’s Bar New Menu

Discover a whole new range of cocktails at Bob’s Bar with their new menu featuring the light and refreshing summer sip, Clear ‘N’ Sunny ($22++) – a playful twist of the legendary Highball cocktail. Or have a taste of their Treasure Tipple ($24++), a Japanese-inspired cocktail with a hint of Sencha green tea flavour.

For something unique to Bob’s Bar, try their bespoke Navegante rum or the custom Bob’s Brew ($16++). Bearing hints of toffee and sugarcane, the latter is a beer specially crafted by Hong Kong’s Young Master Brewery for the bar.

Come at 6.30pm and experience Bob’s Bar’s very own Bosun’s Call – an old practice onboard naval ships that signals for all to take their daily ration of rum. As a nod to this tradition, a barrel of homemade Grog made of Bacardi 8 Rum infused with fresh pineapple and Southeast Asian spices is wheeled out nightly at the establishment for guests to try at $24++.
