One of the biggest events on Singapore’s cultural calendar is going virtual this year with the launch of its online platform, SIFA v2.020. Presented as part of the #SGCultureAnywhere campaign, the digital festival features an exciting line-up of talks, workshops, performances and more. Catch up on SOURCE x Audible Lands, a mini docu-series about the collaboration between experimental band The Observatory, filmmaker Eric lee and music groups formed by migrant workers. If you love all things supernatural, go behind the scenes on the making of OIWA – The Ghost of Yotsuya.

Learn About Sustainability at The Virtual Conscious Festival

For the first time in five years, The Conscious Festival will be a three-day immersive virtual event. This year will also see Europe onboard, giving the festival a wider global reach. Organised by lifestyle platform Green is the New Black, this event aims to a sustainable lifestyle among its attendees. Expect four virtual zones where you can listen to thought-provoking talks, participate in experiential workshops, shop till you drop in a digital marketplace with over 70 conscious brands and interact with like-minded individuals. A festival isn’t complete without live music – jam to soulful stylings by local bands and singers.

If there’s anything the world needs right now, it is love and hope. And that’s exactly what Michaela Therese has set out to do with her upcoming online live concert. A wearer of many hats, Michaela is a soul vocalist, pianist, songwriter and producer. With two sold shows at The Esplanade and various stellar performances at music festivals around the world, it isn’t hard to see why she was hailed as a lodestar of the local music scene. Tune into her concert to be moved and swept away by her jazz-influenced soulful renditions.

Meditate and Heal With Diego Cervantes

Feeling overwhelmed? We feel ya. Join instructor Diego Cervantes for a session of BreathWave. This self-healing technique harnesses just the power of our breath to reduce stress, anxiety and lift any pent up emotions. Hosted by Altered States, Diego will be live streaming his BreathWave sessions directly from Mexico every Saturday on Zoom. Each session will be capped at 20 participants to keep it an intimate and safe space with closer guidance.

Walk Through The Streets of Hope by National Arts Council

If you’re missing the lively streets of Singapore, the National Arts Council is bringing the Civic District back to life with stunning artworks of 153 homegrown artists. Look out for works by the likes of Milenko Prvacki, Heman Ching and Ezzam Rahman as they present creations ranging from batik painting to digital prints on street banners along the streets of Fullerton Road, Esplanade Drive and many more. The Streets of Hope collection will also be available online on the NAC Facebook page.
