Keep the first month of 2019 going strong with an epic line-up of local and overseas collaborations in store this week! But fret not, it seems like the stars have aligned them back-to-back, so seize the day(s) and keep your week packed with bands, booze and a whole lot of boogie.
Singapore Express 新加坡特快
If your Monday is in desperate need of a little pick-me-up, local photographer Aik Beng Chia and his Chinese counterpart Feng Li have got something for you. Drawing inspiration from how local communal spaces shape social behaviour, the two have conceived 新加坡特快 (Singapore Express), an exploration of the local street life. The exhibition gives you a chance to experience our urban landscape from a refreshing new perspective. A moment to smell the proverbial roses of the concrete jungle may be just what you needed to get yourself out of that back-to-work funk.
Singapore Express will be held from the 15 January — 9 February 2019 at DECK Gallery 2 & Courtyard, 12pm — 7pm from Tuesdays to Saturdays, and 12pm — 5pm on Sundays. Closed on Monday and PH. Admission is free. For more details, check out the event page here.
