Summer Pavilion Launches Weekend Set Lunch with Natural Wine Pairing

From 23 July to 23 October 2021, one Michelin-starred Summer Pavilion is offering a five-course Natural Wines Pairing Set Lunch Menu (from S$120++ per person). Featuring four specially curated natural wines, enjoy dim sum with a clean and crisp Austrian Pet Nat and a dry Chilean Muscat before sampling some orange wine -Weingut Maria & Sepp Muster Gräfin 2017 – with Marinated Smoked Farm Chicken. The last savoury course, Hokkien-style Fried Rice with abalone, prawn, and dried scallop, is paired with Ochota Barrels From the North Mourvèdre 2019 from the Barossa Valley.

Lobster Broth Joins Old Favourites at Beauty In The Pot

One of Singapore’s go-to spots for hotpot, Beauty In The Pot offers nourishing and exquisite broths, as well as a wide selection of fresh ingredients. Now, the brand has introduced a new seasonal Rich Lobster Broth (from S$20), available till 31st August 2021. Simmered with fresh prawns and local-farmed lobsters for more than eight hours, add more flavour to the umami broth with ingredients like the Ebiko Prawn Paste (S$18.90) and Homemade Fish Tofu (S$2.40). Or simply order up a platter of Fried Beancurd Skin (from S$5.40) to slurp it all up.

The Elephant Room Introduces New Cocktail Menu

Priding itself as Singapore’s first culture forward cocktail bar, The Elephant Room once again presents new creations that celebrate the rich history, stories, and people that make up the vibrant ethnic enclave of Little India. Priced at S$24++ each, new additions include the sweet and toasty Race Course Plantation, made from clarified sugarcane, rum, and Himalayan salt, as well as the Ayurveda. The gin based cocktail is concocted with fruits and herbs commonly used in the alternative medicine system, such as pickled gooseberry and facto-fermented grapes

All-Day Dining at The Butcher’s Wife

Known for its bold Brazilian flavours, The Butcher’s Wife has branched out into an all-day dining concept, with a fixed menu offering guests delicious dishes for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Have a taste of Amazon living with the classic Pão De Queijo (S$12), a cheese bread folded with fermented tapioca pulp, and a special blend of cheeses, served with sambal chili and tomato. The Marinated Chicken Thigh Dosa (S$26), dressed in a fermented cashew cream and wrapped in a crispy, glistening South Indian crepe made using fermented lentils and rice is another unique take on Brazilian cuisine.
