Michito Kaneko: Guest Shifts at Tess Bar and Neon Pigeon

Feeling the mid-week blues? Get your tipple fix from DIAGEO Global World Class Bartender of the Year 2015 and owner of Nara’s Lamp Bar, Michito Kaneko. He’ll be in town to introduce his Mars Iwai whisky cocktail creations. Distilled in Shinshu, Nagano Prefecture, Mars Iwai is Japan’s third largest whisky producer. Look forward to drinks such as the spirit-forward FROM FOREST (森から) featuring housemade forest bitters and ingredients like hinoki and burdock, as well as the bizarre yoghurt-infused Colourless (透明).

 A Revamped Menu by Executive Chef Loki Lynch at ATLAS

Sitting at No. 5 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2019, ATLAS is not only one of Singapore’s swankiest drinking places, but also a showstopper when it comes to their food. With a new direction from Executive Chef Lachlan ‘Loki’ Lynch, the dining menu showcases a range of dishes, from mains such as the Pan-Roasted Market Fish that’s drizzled with creamy lemon yoghurt, to smaller biters like Mini Lobster Rolls and the Lamb Kofta. The Dalmore’s Limited-Edition Royal Feast

Dive into the world of whisky appreciation next Wednesday with The Dalmore, which has partnered with db Bistro & Oyster Bar to present their exclusive Royal Feast. Priced at $188++ per person and hosted by Whyte & Mackay’s whisky specialist Stephen Martin, the four-course meal starts with Chilled Lobster Cocktail and ends with some lovely Aged Stilton Cheese. Each dish is accompanied by one of their single malt Scotch, and the highlight is the King Alexander III that you’ll be toasting with at the end. The feast is limited to 20 people, so make your bookings quick.

Nerua Guggenheim Bilbao x Basque Kitchen by Aitor

For a taste of authentic Basque cuisine, look no further than Basque Kitchen by Aitor, which will host a four-hands eight-course meal amidst the World’s 50 Best Restaurants festivities. Jointly created by both Head Chef Aitor Jeronimo Orive and Josean Alija of Spain’s Nerua Guggenheim Bilbao, the collaboration presents a modern take on the cuisine and will be available for both lunch ($248++ per person, additional $98++ for drink pairing) and dinner ($288++ per person, additional $98++ for drink pairing).

Nerua Guggenheim Bilbao x Basque Kitchen by Aitor is happening on 21 June 2019 (lunch at 12pm and dinner at 6.30pm) and 22nd June 2019 (lunch at 12pm) at Basque Kitchen by Aitor.
